I qualified as a toolmaker and have worked in the sheet metal industry for over 20 years. Moving into the area of product design enabled me to expand my metalworking skills even further. After hours, however I turned my attention to developing my woodworking techniques, building wooden toys and hand carved trophies and furniture on a commission basis. In the last few years I have focused my attention on designing and creating fine quality metal work in the form of wall lights and clocks, and in 2005 was delighted to receive a commission from Hewlett Packard for the design and manufacture of a water-feature for an exhibition in Birmingham. I am now pleased to launch my new range of candleholders to the market. The Viking Ships, constructed of a mild steel framework, with copper sails are all individually handcrafted at my home in Tallaght.

I am a member of the Craft Council of Ireland, the national design and economic development organisation for the craft industry in Ireland.
